Description:Rolling the square at the County Cricket Ground, Station Road, Stoke-on-Trent before the match between the Minor Counties and the South African touring side on 12,13 and 14 June 1929. The match was drawn and Staffordshire's Sydney Barnes took 8 for 41 in the first innings.
