Description:A postcard view of Lightoaks, a large Victorian house which stands on the road to Cheadle. Lightoaks is a grade II listed house built in 1852 for the owner of the copper works at the time, John Wilson Patten. It was heavily altered when the Bolton family acquired it in 1895 and almost doubled in size. A covered arcade leads to a large greenhouse.
