Description:Postcard photograph of The Lodge, Oakamoor, Staffordshire. It was occupied by George Wragge and the Wragge family during the 19th century. He was one of the partners and shareholders of the Cheadle Brass Company in 1839. Later, it was the home of Dr Bearblock, the official Works Doctor. He later married Beatrice, the daughter of A.S. Bolton, in 1901. He moved into the Lodge in the following year. The Lodge was demolished shortly after his death in 1951.
