Description:This postcard view shows Elm Terrace, mostly covered with ivy or Virginia creeper, at Walton, Stone. Built in the second half of the 19th century, the terrace still stands (2022), with some alterations, on Stafford Road, close to the A520 and the adjacent road traffic island on the A34. The road sign in the centre points right towards Eccleshall, Stoke and Newcastle, and left towards Stone.
