Description:This factory building was built by John Scott & Co in about 1885. Jen shoes occupied the building between 1933 and 1963, using it as a warehouse. By 1969, after Jen shoes had vacated the premises it was being utilized by the following business:
P.J. Cooper - Electrical Contractors;
Dudley (Motor ) Factors;
Davitron Ltd - Manufacturing small electrical components ;
Stafford Reprographics Ltd - Printers (later in Bailey Street);
E. F. Hultqist - coil winding and electrical motor repairs.
