Description:Moddershall Cricket Club was founded in 1923 and moved to its present ground, Barnfields at Spot Acre, in 1961. A second adjoining ground, Wrekin View, was acquired and developed in 1994. The Clubhouse (pictured) was refurbished in 2011. The Club became founder members of the Stone and District League in 1933. In 1975, the Club joined the North Staffordshire and District League before joining the North Staffordshire & South Cheshire League in 2008.
