Description:Photograph of the Saracens Head public house on Stafford Road, Weston, near Stafford.
The inn began life as the Nag's Head in 1818, but was renamed the Saracen's Head in 1860. The inn's name commemorates the crest of a 'Saracen's Head' granted to Lord Ferrers for his services to King Richard during the Third Crusade.
