Description:The Cock Inn on Station Road, Stowe-by-Chartley. Pictured by the doorway are the landlord Owen Eales and his wife, Millicent Elizabeth Eales (nee Seal, born 1877), with one of their children. Born in 1873, Owen Eales was the publican of the Cavendish Arms in Doveridge at the time of his death in 1940.

It is now (2015) the Bistro Le Coq french restaurant and bar. Photograph taken by Alfred McCann of Uttoxeter.
