Description:Pictured is the Auto Electrical Services Garage facing the A449, Wolverhampton Road at the junction with Rickerscote Road. The garage specialised in electrical work and the English Electric Co. in Stafford sent their works vehicles there for electrical repairs.

On the left of the photograph an Austin van advertises W.G. Harrison’s shop in Mill Bank, Stafford, specialising in battery, dynamo and starter repairs. This name also appears above the entrance to the garage.

At a later date the building was demolished and replaced by a Tesco petrol station and local supermarket.
