Description:Thomas Hine loading corn at Dains Mill, Upper Hulme. The water powered mill at Dains Mill dates back to around 1600. Four generations of the Hines family worked the mill from 1802. For a while, the buildings stood derelict after a severe storm and flood in 1946, but they have since been restored.
