Description:Clifford Charles William Fisher and Hilda Loveday 'courting', sitting on the railing fence at Shugborough.

After his father died in 1915 Clifford Charles William Fisher moved with his mother and siblings to Great Haywood and took the position of gardener on the Shugborough Estate where he met Hilda Loveday, the Butler's daughter.
