Description:May Bank Infants School was opened in 1904 and was designed by Absalom Reade Wood, who was a prolific architect, designing Tunstall Town Hall, Burslem's School of Art and Longton's Sutherland Institute. He also built two Methodist churches in Wolstanton as well as St Andrew's church in Porthill.
