Description:This is a view primarily of the market cross. A market cross is structure used to mark a market square. In the background is Edwin Harrison's photography studio. This building was also believed to have been the birthplace of Major-General Thomas Harrison. After the restoration of King Charles II to the throne, Harrison was one of the regicides found guilty and then hung, drawn and quartered.
