Description:Studio portrait of Geoffrey Dean Tavernor. Geoffrey was the son of Harry and Annie Tavernor. The photographer was Thomas Pearce, whose studio was on Peel Terrace.

Geoffrey Tavernor was born on 4 February 1911. He married Pat Holt at St. Chad's Church, Stafford, on 7 August 1939; they had one son, Ian. He worked as a locksmith at the Golden Key Shop on Gaol Road. He then ran a butcher's shop at 43 Gaol Road until 1953. After working as a locksmith for builders Sandy and Co., he worked for English Electric at both the Castleworks and Lichfield Road sites.
