Description:All of the buildings in the foreground are now gone and Malt Mill Lane has been widened. At the top of the image in the gap you can see the roof-line and flag pole on top of the Shire Hall in Market Square.

The ladies crossing the image on the left are Ada Holt and Ada Groves, with baby Linda Groves in the pram.
