Description:Top left are the Pole Barns. Below is the chitting house for potatoes. At the centre top are the turkey brooders.

The old barns formed three sides of a square. On the left side was where cows and (later) pigs were kept. The tall building was the stables. On the adjoining side were cow stalls with lofts above. There were also cow stalls on the right hand side.

The Farm in Peter Oliver’s day grew sugar beet, barley, wheat, potatoes, and lays of grass land, and farmed turkeys, geese, pigs and beef cattle.
