Description:This postcard view was published by T. H. Pemberton, Leigh St. Burslem, Stoke on Trent.

On the left is the Globe Hotel with the tall chimneys, however, it is now on a very busy road traffic island.

Several of the buildings on the right remain although their ground floors have been converted into shops/restaurants.
