Description:This postcard view was published by Wood's Series, Rugeley. On the left is the Police Station and on the right is the Post Office. Note the London & North Western Railway's delivery dray from the Trent Valley Station (delivering mail to the Post Office?) driven by Mr J. Leadbetter. At this time there were no railings or flowers around the War Memorial - just stone clippings, and trees on the left of the road beyond the Police Station.
