Description:The Dodd family pictured outside the Old Dame Coffee House on Main Road, Milford.

Mrs Betty Dean ran a Dame School in this building, financed by Colonel and Mrs Levett, until she died in April 1879. Mrs Levett then decided to open it as a coffee house to provide refreshments for wagon drivers carting sand and gravel from Cannock Chase. Mr Dodd and his wife ran the Coffee House for many years.
