Description:Jack and Edna Hudson and Garry Platt pictured outside John Hudson's tent during a parent's visit to the St. John Ambulance Brigade camp at Colwyn Bay, North Wales.

In the background can be seen the ex-Army Austin ambulance which at one time was the Uttoxeter town ambulance. By the time of this photograph it was used at Uttoxeter racecourse, and had been used (unofficially!) to transport people to the camp at Colwyn Bay.
