Description:Granville Square decorated for the Coronation celebrations. This view shows the Post Office and war memorial, with the Crown and Anchor public house to the left.

The thatched and timber framed building on the left is the Crown and Anchor public house, built in 1675. The inn was damaged by fire in 1937, but was repaired in time to celebrate George VI's Coronation celebrations.
