Date:1890 - 1900 (c.)

Description:Mrs. Sarah Holt with her daughter possibly Mary Holt outside her cottage on the Milford Hall Estate the home of the Levett family. The cottage backed onto the main Lichfield Road. Mrs. Holt worked as a poultry maid for the Levetts. When her husband John died in 1899 Mrs. Holt went to live with her married daughter Alice Dawson in Walton on the Hill. In the late 1980s and early 1990s Mrs. Dyonese Rosamund Haszard, nee Levett (1900 -1993) lived in this same cottage in her retirement, close to her family in nearby Milford Hall.
