Description:St. Michael's Football Club, Stone Charity Cup winners, 1923-1924.

The Stone Charity Cup was played over the Christmas holidays, with the final taking place at Easter. Four teams took part: Stone St. Dominic's, Quickfit & Quartz, Stone St. Michael's and Stone Lotus. Big crowds would attend matches at the Lotus ground on Oulton Road.

The player with the ball between his legs is could possibly be Charles Clarke. If anyone can verify this, please contact us .
