Description:Vine Row showing the Vine Inn. The Vine Inn was built in the early nineteenth century and the first licensee was Mrs James Salt in 1812. In 1899 it was acquired by Joule's Brewery. The Vine closed in July 2011 and was demolished Spring 2012 to make way for a new housing development. Most of the adjoining terrace of houses was removed many years earlier and it is now the site of Lotus Court.
