Description:The thatched Crown and Anchor public house. The inn was built in 1675, but was damaged by fire in 1937. It was repaired in time to celebrate George VI's Coronation celebrations later that year.

This postcard view was photographed by P.C. Dutton of Stone, and is postmarked 1931.
