Description:A postcard view of Stone, looking east across the railway and the Trent valley from what is now Stone Golf Club. On the right can be seen St. Dominic's Convent, with the spire of St. John's Church behind.

The Gosdales was a farm - it still stands, close by the railway on the south-east edge of the Golf Course.
