Description:A postcard view looking northwards towards the ford and Ford Farm. A group of children are playing by the stream.

In 1946 Joule's purchased the land from Viscount Sidmouth. It was presented to the National Trust on 22 July 1950 'as a thank offering for victory in the 1939 - 45 War and as a memorial to those who died there'.
