Description:This effigy of a cross-legged knight is probably of Ralph de Botiller (died 1342), who was the donor of the church. The monument is situated on the north side of the chancel.

Also in the church can be found a fourteenth century brass of Lady Hawys de Botiller, wife of Sir Ralph.

The home of the Botillers was Norbury Manor which has now been demolished, although remains of the moat can still be seen.
