Description:Laura Dutton in her dental nurse's uniform at Walton-on-the-Hill, Stafford in the early 1920s. Laura worked for Mr.A.E.Henry, a well-known dental surgeon in Stafford for four years until 1927 when she married Edward 'Jack' Husselbee. She was paid 25/- a week. Mr. Henry was a generous employer who took Laura and her fiance on outings in his Bentley Tourer, sometimes to the theatre in Wolverhampton as a reward for extra work. Often they went touring in Derbyshire and frequently went to Smedley,s Hydro at Matlock where they would have a splendid tea!
