Description:Postcard view with Mr. John Keeling, who was sexton at Walton Church for 40 years, standing outside his home, Wisteria Cottage, almost opposite the village pump. He kept a vegetable garden and sold his produce in the village and to shops in Stafford. He died at Wisteria Cottage on 9th April 1925 aged 71. The cottage in the background was called Walton Springs where at one time the Woods family ran the Village Post Office before moving to the thatched cottage next to the smithy.
