Description:The pageant included a class for floats representing a film shown in Stafford over the previous year. This float was based on the 'Victorian Grandeur of East Lynne', and was photographed on Foregate Street, at the junction with Glover Street. The procession through Stafford ended with a fair on the town common. A prize was awarded to the best decorated entries and along the route collections were made for Stafford General Infirmary.
