Description:The hop back is part of the beer making proces. It is where the hopped wort passes through a perforated bottom, is cooled and goes to fermentation.

Joule's produced Stone Ales for the home market and for export to Europe and America.

Joule's was taken over by Bass Charrington in 1970, but production ceased four years later.
