Date:1960 - 1970 (c.)

Description:Inverted pear-shaped plaque. Plywood with paper facia. A lion's head in black and silver, on a gold ground with a blue border and gold inscription: "BRITISH LEGION". It was hung outside the British Legion meeting hall in Weston, near Stafford, taken down in 1970 when the name was changed to "Royal British Legion".
