Description:Wedding of Walter Robinson Handforth (1889-1956) and Evelyn Lumsdale (1890-1963) outside Murray House, Broom Street, Hanley. The wedding took place at the Tabernacle Church in Hanley. Walter Robinson Handforth was manager of the District Bank in Hanley and was a Special Constable during World War II.

From left to right: Andrew Lumsdale, Evelyn Gertrude Lumsdale (the bride's parents), unknown bridesmaid, Alma Lumsdale (bride's sister), Eveleyn Handforth, Reg Lumsdale (bride's brother), Walter Robinson Handforth, Rene Lumsden (bride's sister), Edwin handforth (1854-1942, groom's father).
