Description:Thomas Day (1748-1789) was a barrister and author, and was born in Wellclose Square, London. Day lived at Stowe House in Lichfield and as a member of the Lunar Society in Lichfield knew Erasmus Darwin and Anna Seward. He wrote and campaigned in support of the abolition of slavery.
