Description:Dr. Henry Sacheverell (1672-1724), clergyman and politician, was born at Marlborough, Wiltshire. His first post was as Vicar of Cannock, and he was later preacher at St. Saviour's, Southwark. As Vicar of Cannock, He attacked the Revolution Settlement and Act of Toleration in two sermons, and was impeached and found guilty and suspended from preaching for three years.
Engraving, probably engraved in Amsterdam, but sold in London. It lists members of the House of Lords and House of Commons who supported him.
