Description:Sir Walter Aston of Tixall (1584-1639), created Baronet 1611. Ambassador to Spain 1620-1625 and 1635-1638. Created Lord Aston of Forfar in 1628.

An engraving by R. Cooper after R.W. Satchwell's drawing from an oil painting dated 1584. Published 1st December 1815 by Lackington, Allen & Co. and Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme & Brown.
