Description:Lithograph print. A caricature of Sir Augustus Berkeley Paget (1823-1896) by 'T', with caption 'Promotion by marriage' . Appeared in 'Vanity Fair' 26th June 1880.

He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Arthur Paget and Lady Augusta Fane, nephew of General Sir Edward Paget and grandson of The 1st Earl of Uxbridge. he was British Ambassador to Italy 1867-1876 and to Austria-Hungary 1884-1893.
