Description:Three-quarter length portrait of William Heneage Legge, 6th Earl & 8th Baron of Dartmouth (1851-1936) of Patshull Hall. Grandson of William Legge, 4th Earl of Dartmouth. Married Lady Mary Coke (born 1849), daughter of the 2nd Earl of Leicester of Holkham, in 1879.

He was Lord Lieutenant of Staffordshire in 1891, Chairman of the Territorial Force Association, Provincial Grand Master of Freemasonry and Vice-Chairman of the County Council of Staffordshire.
