Description:Lantern slide view of a flooded Horninglow Street showing the Plough Inn on the left, with horse drawn vehicles making their way through the water. On the right, behind the floater are Allsopps Brewery's Municipal Offices. The October flood was the second that year, the earlier one having occurred in July. Together the floods caused serious damage estimated at £100,000.
