Description:William Wood and his wife Harriet ( nee ) Lane were established as farmers at Beeston Tor Farm, in the Manifold Valley in 1891 with son, Alfred Charles.
Harriet Wood ran a tea room adjacent to the Manifold Valley Light Railway in about 1930 servicing the hundreds of tourists that visited the Manifold Valley on the train at that time.
