Description:Stone Town Band pictured with the portable bandstand made by Haynes and Sons and owned by Stone Urban district Council.

In the centre with arms folded is Ted Warrilow, the Band Master (who was married to Liz Taylor, nee Stanley)

On Christmas day the band visited all the members' houses and played carols. They were supplied with food and drinks and ended the day at the Bridge Inn (later renamed Langtry's).
