Description:Carnival King, Queen and Civic dignitaries in the parade pictured outside the Workhouse, Holly Road, Uttoxeter.

Sitting in the landau, wearing a chain of office is Alfred McCann, photographer, who was seving as Chairman of Uttoxeter Urban District Council that year. The Carnival King is Ben Shaw.
