Description:St. Bede's School rugby union team pictured in the gardens of Bishton Hall. In the background is the Garden Temple, which formerly stood over a boathouse on the River Trent.

Bishton Hall was rebuilt in the 1770s by John Sparrow, a banker. The Roman Catholic St. Bede's Preparatory School was founded in 1936 by Cecil Stafford Northcote.
