Description:This picture from the Rugeley Times ahows part of the restoration appeal for the St Augustines Church restoration fund. As part of the appeal many families in the parish took home jars in which to collect loose change as well as taking part in fundraisers such as sponsored walks. The first part of the restoration was started in March 1980 when all of the main windows were replaced. (Courtesy of the Birmingham Post)
