Description:Pictured at the Croft School, Armitage are the participants of a Mums verses Daughters charity football match. Three men made up the numbers for the Daughters team and water pistols, custard pies and two footballs were all part of the game.

On the left holding the ball is Jacqueline Jones. The scarecrow is Carol Winters. Also in the photograph are Fran Lewis, Diane Purle, Joyce Harvey, Eileen Cope, Brenda Heathcote, Betty Shaw, Dee Gibbons and Jenny Micklewright.
