Description:Cottages on the corner of Main Road and Brocton Road in Milford. The low thatched cottage on the left was the home of Eliza Jane (Jinney) Alderson during World War 1. Her parents had moved into the cottage in 1866 and Jinney lived there for the rest of her life. She died in 1960. During World War 1 the shop was very busy, selling chocolate, tobacco and postcards to soldiers.
