Description:Roger Woolley, born Tutbury 1877 d.1959
Roger was well known for his fly tying and was the author of several books about fishing flies. He was the founder of "Roger Woolley and Co." and tied individual flies which were sent all over the world - these and his books are still found at collector's auctions. A new book about his work is to be published Spring 2009. The picture was taken beside his beloved Dove river.
