Description:Snow picture scene outside The Star Inn at Leigh, taken on a Sunday morning. The car was an Austin Ten painted in green. Standing next to it are Arthur Brassington and Tony Smith (aged 10). Arthur Brassington was chauffer to Mr George Bagshaw of Leigh. Arthur was checking to see if the road was clear enough to be able to pick Mr Bagshaw up on the next morning.
