Description:Watercolour by Alf Fallows depicting Lower Street in Newcastle-under-Lyme in 1928. In the foreground two men can be seen chatting and two women can be seen shopping. A man on a bike can be seen to the bottom right of the painting.The tower of St. Giles' Church can be seen rising over the buildings in the background.
